Kyle & Lauren: A Summer Wedding (Mid Michigan Wedding Photographer)

August 30, 2014

Stunning. That's one word that comes to mind when I think of Lauren on her wedding day. She had a radiant glow about her from the moment I saw her on her big day. And that dress!!! Despite the humidity and dark clouds looming, her attitude was nothing but excitement to be marrying her best friend, Kyle. These two are so amazing together. And though I've only seen them together one other time (engagement session in Florida!), it's very evident when they are together.

Lauren and I were friends back in grade school. We used to play fun games we made up to pass the time on the bus with my little sister. As we got older, she lent her creativity and acting skills to one of my yearly endeavors (a haunted forest on my parents' property :) and though we haven't seen each other much since I graduated high school, it's been great keeping up with her career in the Navy and seeing her find love with Kyle.

Kyle and Lauren's friends and family are very close-knit and their wedding at Soaring Eagle Resort was a lot of fun. We even managed to sneak in some outdoor photos between rain showers. What an amazing day! Congrats to these two and thanks so much for you patience with this blog post! I loved a lot of photos so there's a lot to check out below!
